Monday Evening Grocery Packing

As part of the We Don't Waste COVID-19 response we have adjusted the mobile food market model to a drive thru food distribution to encourage social distancing while providing families with pre-packed bags of groceries. Volunteers are needed to help pack these bags of food at our Distribution Center the day before these Drive Thru Markets. (Ages 15 and up! Ages 12-14 are invited to volunteer accompanied by an adult.)

5971 Broadway Denver, CO 80216 United States

If you have any questions or concerns please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Kate Millman at kate@wedontwaste.org or 720.443.6113 ext 115.

All volunteers will be provided with gloves, safety vests, and access to hand sanitizer. We ask that you please arrive wearing your own face mask and that you keep it on covering both your nose and mouth for the duration of the shift. This event will be held in the loading areas of our warehouse with the large bay doors open to allow for better air flow. This event is held in the evening so it can become cold after the sun goes down. Please note the weather and dress accordingly. If a shift is cancelled due to inclement weather someone from the WDW staff will contact you.

If you need to cancel please contact the Volunteer Coordinator, Kate Millman at kate@wedontwaste.org or 720.443.6113 ext 115
