We Don't Waste
Help out with various projects at our Food Recovery Hub (6090 E 39th, Denver CO 80207). Volunteer shifts include helping with grocery bag making and food donation sorting or helping nonprofit partners shop for food for their organization. All volunteers MUST WEAR CLOSED TOE SHOES when working in the warehouse.

This is for individual volunteers only. Mobile Food Markets are a pop-up style food market where food is offered at no cost. These markets are open to the public and all of the food is provided by We Don't Waste. They happen twice per week at various locations around Denver and are primarily outdoors, though sometimes indoors during inclement weather. At these events, volunteers help us set up the market including setting up tents and tables. Once the market begins, volunteers work at a food station or help market participants shop with our wagons. After the market is over, all volunteers help us to break down the event and load the van with gear. Volunteers who speak Spanish (even beginners) might be asked to help out with our check-in process.
